After renewed clashes in Tahrir Square and outside the Presidential Palace, Mohammed Morsi, President and Supreme Dictator of Egypt has announced that he is stepping down. "The unauthorized arrest of one of my favorite broadcasters yesterday was the last straw" Morsi was heard to say before his radio address.
Morsi was the first President elected democratically in Egypt after his predecessor, President Hosni Mubarak, resigned by the will of the people.
Clashes continued as the Brotherhood attempted to regain control.
